Read the binding Polish versionWhat the policy covers
The policy explains what cookies are, which ones templars.digital uses, for what purpose and for how long, and how to change your consent at any time. Similar technologies, the browser’s local storage and tracking pixels set by advertising tool providers, are treated as cookies too. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser; persistent ones stay until they expire or you delete them.
Cookie categories
Cookies fall into three categories, managed in the consent banner:
- necessary: required for the website to work and to remember your privacy choices; they cannot be switched off and do not require consent;
- analytics: count visits and show which content is read, in aggregate and for statistics only; they require your consent and are off by default;
- marketing: measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns and allow remarketing in external networks; they require your consent and are off by default.
Cookies used
The Polish version lists every cookie with its provider, purpose and retention period: the necessary consent cookie set by Digital Templars, Google Analytics 4 cookies for analytics, and marketing cookies from Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn. The list is updated whenever the set of tools changes; if you notice a cookie that is not listed, write to iod@templars.digital.
Google Consent Mode v2
Before any Google tool loads, it is told that consent has not been given, all consent signals default to “denied”. Analytics and advertising scripts load only after you give the relevant consent, and withdrawing it restores the default state immediately.
Transfers outside the EEA
The providers of analytics and marketing tools belong to groups based in the United States. After you consent, your data may be transferred to the US on the basis of the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, otherwise, standard contractual clauses.
Managing consent and your rights
You can change your choices at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, and manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies means the website will not remember your consent choices. Consent to analytics and marketing cookies is entirely voluntary and refusing it does not limit access to the website. Your rights regarding this data are described in the privacy policy. A significant change to the cookies that require consent will show the banner again.
